Less than nubile, happily partnered damsel of the sapphic persuasion waits too long to attempt pregnancy. Enlists the use of donor sperm and donor eggs.
One fresh cycle and one frozen embryo transfer later and the dreamed of BFP happens.
She walks down the aisle and marries her sweetheart while 7 months pregnant.
Out comes baby girl , and a whole new life (for all of them).
Fast forward 3 yrs. Baby boy is born, her marriage is made legal and the adventure continues....
Wow oh wow oh wow! CONGRATULATIONS, mama (which is the same thing I would have said had it been a boy, although I would have also said "Welcome to the club" :))
And congratulations on your upcoming wedding!!!! (I too have gotten a bit behind in my commenting). I am so happy for you and it's good to hear that you are enjoying all the planning and not stressing. I'm sure it will be just perfect!
Just needed to stop by & tell you how much your incredibly kind words meant to me...we have been so blessed & lifted up by comments such as yours. Thank you for carrying us as we work through our grief & the loss of our daughter, there are more dark days ahead, but we know we can endure because of the love & prayers of everyone surrounding us...thank you for being a part of that. Love, Rebecca
