Picture this: A week after the "donor a go go" call.
Me, calling my clinic with news of my most recent BIG accomplishment: somehow I managed to get a period!
The clinic calling me back: "great news about your period. Did you pick a new donor yet?
Me, blood at 200 degrees: DIDWEPICKADONOR? Only about a week ago! What is wrong with these people?!!!!!!! What happened to the donor agency sending the "match" over "right away"?
Still no answer at 11pm tonight, but lo and behold, we get the donor to recipient agreement by e-mail today, too. Does that mean the donor has been to see the lawyer but not the doc? Er, yep! Okay,it's a start but could we please get this show on the road, puhlease!
oh for heaven's sake! enough delays already, you have had MORE than your fair share! im sending demands upon the universe that this ball get rolling and that everything proceeds smoothly from here on out! i wish i had your donor's telephone number - id call her up and tell her to get her hiney in to the clinic for her testing NOW!
ReplyDeletesounds like your going to have to get on those folks and stay on them because obviously the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
ReplyDeleteHow annoying! Here's hoping they get it in gear quickly. Don't they know we're all waiting for your BFP???
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness!
ReplyDeleteAdministrative errors so frustrating. I hope this is only a minor delay and you and your egg donor can get synced up in no time.
omg...stress!!!
ReplyDeleteKeep us updated on how this is turning out!!!
OMG! I am outraged for you. How much tougher can clinics, agencies and donors make this process be?
ReplyDeleteOn a slightly different note, you will be the world's most patient mother. You will have the glorious ability to sort out the minor frustrations after dealing with all this.
